Recipe: Healthy Peppermint Hot Chocolate for Deep Sleep

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vanilla almond milk (or any vanilla milk alternative)
  • 1 bag peppermint tea
  • 1 tablespoon of cacao powder
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • 1 square of Nightcap chocolate by alice
  • Light pour of maple syrup
  • Hand frothier

Instructions:

  1. Combine water and vanilla almond milk in a small sauce pan and set to low heat
  2. Once liquid is softly simmering, remove from heat
  3. Add peppermint tea bag to simmering liquid and let steep for 10 to 15 minutes
  4. Place cacao powder, cinnamon, maple syrup, and one square of Nightcap chocolate by alice into a mug
  5. Pour your brewed tea on top of the mixture in your mug
  6. Use hand frothier to blend thoroughly
  7. Enjoy!
